Over the years, we've tracked ours down. He was the Richmond Co Benjamin who went to Autauga Co AL, died there in 1841 or so. His kids spread out all over Dallas and Monroe Counties. His brother Thomas - my ancestor - moved on to Choctaw Co MS, with most of his family in the 1830s - 40s. Their sister, Mary - known as Aunt Polly Gardner - is said to have gone to stay with him when she was old, but I haven't been able to verify that, or much of anything about her.
