Mr. Frank Maxfield and Miss Emma Dupuy, of Lawrence, were married at that place last Wednesday evening, Rev. M. F. Cowden, pastor of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church at this place, tying the nuptial knot. The contracting parties were well known in Terrell, where the parents of the groom reside. After the ceremony a reception was given at the home of the bride's mother in Lawrence, where the happy couple received the hearty congratulations of their many friends. Mr. and Mrs. Maxfield left on the east-bound passenger Wednesday night for Longview, which will be their home in the future. Mr. Maxfield is employed as fireman on the Texas & Pacific railroad.
