I am searching for information on the DuRapau family of the New Orleans area. I can trace as far back as Louis Rene Charles Jemot DuRapau, bn. in France, who married Marie Arthemise Cambre, of Edgard, LA in 1829. Of particular interest would be any information on Theophile DuRapau (their son), or his wife, Elinore. They had a son, Jules, born 1863, who resided in N.O. and married Mary Laffey around 1885. Any information at all on this family would be greatly appreciated.
