A new book is available of the history of Christian County and Taylorville Illinois called:
The Last Stop: Lincoln & the "Mud Circuit".
Lincoln represented several Durbins as clients in Taylorville. It provides a significant amount of information about many of these early settlers. The author is a descendent of the Durbin's who first settled the area.
