Samuel S. Duree b. 5 Sept 1850, mar. 14 May 1871 in Keokuk County, IA to Amanda M. Lippard b. 8 Oct 1853 in Washington County, IA. Samuel was a farmer and teamster and they lived in Washington County; later moving to Gunnison, CO. He edited the Gunnison News at one time, and d. at an unknown date. Amanda d. 14 Aug 1929 in Boulder, CO.

Daisy May Duree m. 14 June 1898 to Leon Earl Gavette. They lived in Gunnison Colorado, and later in Boulder where Daisy d. in Aug 1918.

Charles Ross Duree b. 12 Oct 1882, m. 8 May 1910 to Ethel Dora Berryhill b. 12 Oct 1889 in Gunnison, CO, dau of Jasper Berryhill and Sarah Ward. They lived in Gunnison where Charles was manager of the Parkview Motel Apartments on US Hwy 50. They later lived in Montrose, CA where he d. 22 June 1958. Ethel d. 15 Feb 1966, and they are buried in Gunnison.

Eva Lucille Duree b. 4 Nov 1888, m. 28 May 1924 in Los Angeles, CA to Thaddeus Warsaw Westbrook. They lived at 821 Lincoln Street, Denver, CO.

Charles W. Duree b. 7 Nov 1916, m. 12 April 1948, Anna Jane Smith b. 5 Jan 1914 at Gilmer TX, dau of James A. Smith and Saloma b. Phillips. Charles lived in Gunnison previous to marriage. They lived in El Paso, TX after marriage. Charles d. there 17 Apr 1976.

Norma Ellen Durie b. 2 May 1919, 23 Oct 1976 to Howard Watts. Norma was a school teacher in Gunnison schools prior to marriage. They lived in Montrose, CA.
