Wedding Bells
At the home of Rev. O. Givens Saturday evening, May 25, 1912, at 8 o'clock occurred the marriage of Mr. Alvia Wayne Duer and Miss Sophia Rebekah Durkee, both of Hayes township. Harmon Duer, Howard Mitchell, Hattie Mitchell and Myrtle Duer were the only guests. Both bride and groom are well known and held in high regard by their large circle of friends who join in extending congratulations.
After the ceremony the bridal party went to the home of the groom where they enjoyed a fine supper and a nice evening's entertainment.
