HISTORY :

Many of the Péloquin Félix dropped the Félix and others dropped the Péloquin...I have seen it a lot in the Census and other web sites. That is what happened with Edouard Éloi Péloquin Félix, born July 3, 1831 in Québec. In Québec, he used Edouard Éloi Péloquin Félix....and in
Wisconsin he used Edward Félix.

While in Wisconsin, Edward Félix married Sophie Gauthier circa 1850 in Chippewa Falls . They had 2 children. They divorced.

Then, Édward Félix (Edouard Éloi Péloquin Félix) travelling back to Québec married Julie Bibeau, born Nov. 2, 1843 in St-Pierre-de-Sorel, Québec. They got married on July 5, 1864, in St-Pierre-de-Sorel, Québec...Started a family in Québec: ...Pierre Dorilla, Pierre Paul, Edouard Éloi and Joseph were born in Québec.

Around 1880, Édouard(Edward) and Julie were found in Cadott, Lafayette and Chippewa Falls,Wisconsin. Charles François Xavier Félix (Péloquin) was born in Cadott, Chippewa County in 1882. Marie-Louise Malvina Félix (Péloquin) was born in the US in 1888.

One or more of the children of Peter Félix (Pierre Dorilla Péloquin Félix) must have come back to Québec temporarily.
