My ggg grandmother was Anna Barbara Marguerita Durrenberger, born in Basel, Switzerland in 1862, to Anna Flubacher (sp? Americanized) Durrenberger. Both of her parents born in Switzerland (father's name unknown). She immigrated to the US in the late 1800's/Naturalized approx. 1900. She was a countess for the de Micci's at 15 yrs. old, but came to the US to see a brother (I believe a Durrenberger of San Francisco,CA- possibly a Jacob Durrenberger descendant in California.) She married John Enos of the Azores, in Stockton, CA, and had 3 children - John Enos, Clyde Enos, and Esther Enos (who married Clarence Wagness). They settled in Livermore, CA, before moving to San Francisco. Later Marguerita (who is sometimes listed as Margaret in the census'), settled in Spring Valley/Jamul, CA, before passing in 1932.
