I found on Heritage Quest in the Book Called
A history of two Virginia families transplanted from County Kent, England : Thomas Baytop, Tenterden, 1638 and John Catlett, Sittingbourne, 1622 New Orleans, La.: unknown, 1918, 176 pgs.
On page 36 " it states that "Martha, d. 1760 m. William Hampton d. 1750, and had issue (a) Edward (b)George marr. Mary Colston, (e) Thomas Catlett, marr and left decendents in King William Co.; (d) John, d. in Stafford Co. and has numerous decendents in and near Clarksville, Tenn (e) Susannah, marr. John Quarles; (f) Frances, marr. Thomas Buckner, of Carolina Co.; (g) Sarah m. Richard Durrett, of Carolina County; (h)William."

Does anyone have documentation as to which Richard this is? It is believed it is Richard Durrett of Albemarle Co, VA m. Sarah Hampton, but does anyone have documentation stating this.

It has been stated Richard Durrett of Albemarle Co. VA and Richard Durrett of Carolina County are the same person. Does anyone have documentation showing this to be true.

And does anyone have documenation as to when Richard Durrett who married Sarah Hampton was born and where? Or any ideas where to look.
