Has anyone come across a Clarence Wood Duryea, born 2/22 of about 1884; living in the Islip, Babylon, Brooklyn, or Bay Shore area; and died November 1949? He was married to Anna Green (b.12-15-84) and they had six children: Melvina, Clarence Jr., Bertha Ellen, Alva Nash, Elmore, Ruth Sylvia. I believe his mother was Melvina Eglantine Smith Duryea. My mother states they are descendents of the automobile guys (Duryea and Nash).
