Many researchers believe, as I do, that Thomas Duty b. abt 1764 of Chatham Co, NC married first to Martha Brantley then at some time left that family, went to Russell Co, Va and married Martha Romans and fathered many more children.

My two burning questions about him are:
Has anyone ever been able to locate the names of the three daughters of his first wife, referred to but not named in the will of Martha Brantley's father, 1807? I believe one of the daughters married Ezekial B. Alldredge of Randolph Co, NA. (my ggg-grandparents)

Secondly, I see Thomas listed as having died abt 1835 in Georgia but can find no source. Also see him as having died back in NC, no date. Either way, his second wife appears to have still been in Russell Co, Va wherever her husband was. Can anyone confirm his death date or the location? Thanks for any help anyone can provide.
