Carl V. Duvall,70, of Dardanelle passed away Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012, at the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville.
He was born Jan. 28., 1942, in Russellville, the son of the late Foster and Ruth Graves Duvall. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Carrol Duvall and Danny Duvall; and a sister, Mary Duvall.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Mary Nell Duvall of Dardanelle; a son Carl D. Duvall of Perryville; a daughter, Carla and husband Jackie Piearcy of Perry; two stepsons, Michael Blayloc and wife, Grace of Hot Springs and Scott Smith and wife, Cindy of Pottsville; two stepdaughters, Kim and husband Buddy Ellis of Dardanelle, and Katrina Turner of Marion; brother, David Duvall of Atkins; three sisters, Cathryn Cates of Russellville, Susie Kimbrell of Russellville and Ruby Virden of Moreland; sister-in-law, Darlene Duvall, eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Along with his wife, he owned and operated Slo-Fork Grocery from 1996 - 2000 and Central Arkansas Tire in Dardanelle from 1982 - 2011.
Carl was a Christian and loved gardening and fishing.
Graveside service and burial is 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26,in Shiloh Cemetery with the Rev. Randy Gray offriciating, Arrangements are by Lemley Funeral Service of Atkins. Visitation is from 2 - 4 p.m. Sunday.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
