Have information on Daniel Dwier . His fathers' name was Henry
and grandfathers name was Daniel. He married Hephzibah Holroyd
in June 6, 1867. They had 10 children and lived in Fishtown in
Philadelphia.

I hope that we are talking about the same Thomas Dwier. The one I am researching married Amanda Bernhardina Sherbeck 20 Jan 1892 in Portland. They had a child Louis Walton Dwier born 19 Feb 1895 and died 23 Feb 1979 both events in Portland, Oregon. Thomas Dwier apparently divorced Amanda sometime after the birth of Louis. The only Thomas Dwier I can track in the records is the one who married Sadie Seaver in 1899. Is my Thomas and your Thomas the same person? Thank you for taking the time to answer my query.

Hi Dwier Searchers,
I'm curious if anyone has any information on a James Dwier
who was a Loyalist in the War of 1812, in McPherson's
Company taken prisoner in 1781. This could be my link to

THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR REPLY. THE CRAWFORD FAMILY HAS BEEN A REAL MYSTERY. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO TRACE MY FATHERS LINE FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS ALONG WITH A FEW OTHERS WHO CAME FROM THE LINE OF THOMAS CRAWFORD AND MARY HALEY CRAWFORD. I LIVE ABOUT 60 MILES FROM BOTETOURT AND HAVE SPENT A LOT OF TIME IN THAT AREA TRYING TO GET INFORMATION ON THE CRAWFORDS, THEY ARE HARD TO FIGURE OUT.THE MOST DIFFICULT THINGS TO TRACE IS WHERE DID THOMAS AND MARY COME FROM AND WHAT HAPPENED TO MY GGRANDMOTHER SARAH? Hi! everybody: I am trying to find out when my Aunt Stella died ,her parents were Jonas and Rebecca Jane Sparks. She was born in 1906and married Ray Dwier in 1931. Dear Norman, I got your e-mail off a genealogy page. I wanted to find out if you had any information on the Dwier family from Virginia. My dad was Ray Dwier and his parents were Henry T. Dwier and Caroline Crawford Dwier. I do not have much information on my dad's side of the family because I was only 7 when he died. I am trying to get information on that side of my family now. Any information you have on the Dwier family would be greatly appreciated.

My father was Ray Dwier, His parents were Henry and Caroline also. Lulu must be his sister. I do not know any of his other family as I was only 7 years old when he passed away. Any other information would be appreciated.

Lula was born in Virginia, I dont know where in VA, She is buried in West Virginia around 1934, her parents are also buried in WV, She had one brother that I know of, Thomas Dwire he is buried in Ohio. I dont have much on the Dwire family, And have not been able to come up with much. The best of good hunting to you.

At this point I'm not sure how your information fits in. However, in several weeks my mother and I will be going to Philadelphia to visit the cemetary where Daniel Dwier is buried and also the City Archives. Your line could be related so I will keep my eyes open for a Henry T. Dwire or a Lula Dwire. Do you have a birth date for Lula? Do you know where Henry T. was born? As of now I don't know any of Daniel Dwier's siblings, but he was born in 1847. If he was the first child, perhaps Henry T. Dwire could be the youngest child in the family born 1862. If I find out any information, I will reply.

Dwire her Mother was Caroline Crawford,M Jan12,1882 in Botetourt county Virginia,Caroline mother and father were Jackson J.
