Hi Wayne! We met on internet a few years ago. I tri find some Kandls. I maped CZ, F,ROM,Austria - only a little. Marie- who went to USA- I didn´t find yet. Have you more info about her? Can you send it to me? Miroslav

I'm not sure if we have a match...When was Andrew Knapik year of birth? I have a relative , Stephen Knapik with a brother, Andrew and John and maybe more. Came to the USA from Austria at different times, 1881,1889 and 1895.

Researching husband's family history. His grandfather was Albert Lawrence Dybas from the Amsterdam, NY area. He was born around 1910-1912 and was married to Sadie Sum around 1939. Would appreciate any information! Thanks.

Trying to find ANY person who may have known
my grandfather, Richard Louis Dybas. He was
Born Aug. 1, 1925, Chicago, Cook, IL. His
parents were Charles Dybas and Marie Kandl.
He (R.L.D.) married Aida Maldonado but later
divorced within three years. R.L.D. later
married a woman named Ruth? but died soon after
that marriage near Lake Tahoe in his late
forties.

I am wondering if Dybas could possibly have been Dybacz??

My grandmother came to the US in 1905 and her sponsor was
Joseph (Jozef) Dybacz. She went to Chicago, Il and married
Martin Godlewski.

I show that at Katarine Skolba Jaworek's parents were George Skolba and Barbara Dybas.

Katarine (Katherine) was born 10 Feb 1897 (or 1898) in Poland, and lived in Chicago IL. According to the SSDI she died Feb 1986.

I am looking for more information on this family.

My fathers name is Stephen John Knapik. His father is Andrew J. Knapik who is one of 4 brothers who arrived in the US and settled in Brooklynfor a few years. Andrew settled in Buffalo, NY with wife Maria. He was born Jul 13, 1889 in europe and died aug 10, 1950. Maybe your Stephen was one of Andrews brothers. Contact me please for info sharing

I am looking for information on a Mary Dybas who is originally from Poland. She is listed as the mother of my grandfather, Stephen J. Knapik b. 4/21/1902. Mary married Max Knapik however, I also have Stephen's mother listed, on other documents, as Mary GORSKI. Any information would be appreciated.
