My name is Christine Dicke. My grandfather's name was Abe Dicke.
Our last name is supposed to be spelled "Dyck", however, they made a mistake on my grandfather's birth certificate only.
His siters (Elda, Mary, and others that I can't remember their names) have "Dyck" spelled correctly.
I know that my Grandpa Abe and Grandma Hazel Dicke moved to Vermilion, Alberta from Manitoba.
I was interested to read all the information you have collected about the Dyck name and wondered if we were a part of that family tree!
