John Dye that married Ally Hill are on the 1850 McMinn TN Census... He was born in 1787 and too young to be the son of Martin Dye..( Grandson maybe)
I have a copy of Martin's Will and John Kelly was born in 1760.
I think he is the son of John Kelly Dye..??? Born in
Rutherford NC, the John that married Ally , appears in 1840, 1830 on the Rutherford Census with a father John , Borthers William and Thomas... Martin moved to GA and Died there.
This John has a brother named Thomas and 1 named William.
we have some Civil War papers that prove this.
WE have papers and a signed affidavit that says A B Dye Was the cousin of William/Thomas Kids. We know that Ab was the Son of John & Ally...
We have pretty much figure out this whole puzzle except for the John Kelly Dye Puzzle?
Was he this John's Father or one of John Kelly's Brothers Kids????
