Danese, it has taken a while, but I do have the iformation on Nellie. She was born in Henderson County, Texas. She was born 15MAR1903 to Frances Alexander Speake Dykes (mother) and James H Dykes (father) dob 07SEPT1900 There two are interred in Henderson County though I have no idea where James is originally from.
She had one brother that I know of that was full blood kin and his name was Loy. Loy and Nellie both lived in Henderson County at the time of their death. Loy had children: Hazel, Winston and Geraldine all born in the early 1920's.
