I am looking for information on David (Douwe) Dykstra b. abot 1883 in Friesland, NL who immigrated abt 1906. He and his wife Rena had 11 children: Arthur b. 1907, Charles b. 1909, Anna b. 1911, David b. 1912, Clarence b. 1914, Gertrude b. 1916, Minnie b. 1918, Rena b. 1920, Alice b. 1921, Harold b. 1923, Samuel, b. 1927. The last 5 children were born in Wisconsin (presumably Racine). The others were born in PA, MI and IA.

Douwe Dykstra and Renske Meines traveled on the ship Statendam which arrived in NY (Ellis Island) on May 29, 1906. They are not listed as married in the ship manifest so it is presumed they married in the U.S.
