Remember, they're in Dutch. :) Birth certificates will list the time and place of birth and the parents' names. Death certs will tell where the person died and usually names the parents--if the informant knew who they were. Quite often we find the parents to be only partly correct. Cause of death is not mentioned, although I have seen a few drownings noted.
