Dear Diane,

I have recently assumed the responsibility to update and produce “The Dyments”, book 3. I came across your website while looking for Dyments.

I don’t know if you were even aware that the first volume was published in 1945, and the second in 1983.

If your ancestors came from Devonshire England in 1540, then you are a cousin.

If you are not sure, then tell me who your grandparents are, or look on my website to see if they are listed.

I have registered a Web Site – www.thedyments.com for exploring the Family Tree, updating information and placing orders for the book.

A form is on the site, and can be printed and faxed directly to me.

My email is on the site, as well as the Dyment Family Tree, which has over 2,400 connected relatives.

There are currently 2 links, one for giving me info on your contact info, notifying me that you do have updates for the book, where you fit in the tree and how many copies you may be interested in. The second link is for the Family Tree. For privacy protection, before you can browse the tree, you must register and with a password, which must be approved first by me.

You can also email me with information, or questions.

I know talk of this “new” book has been around for over 20 years, and now I am going to make it happen.

Please tell all of your relatives, who may wish a copy to go to the site, or have a family member go for them.

Hope this finds you well,

Regards,

D. Campbell Dyment
