I have been trying to find out if Father Constantine Dziuk has ancestry from Koschentin. He came to America in 1886 and was 6 years old. His parents were Anton and Elisabeth who settled in Buffalo, Erie, New York. THeir passenger list says from "Neumark". There is no Neumark in Schlesien, only Neumarkt and I checked the available births but they only go to 1860 and Constantine was born in 1880. His father probably around 1849. At that time there were no Dziuks in Neumarkt. So I am wondering if anyone knows the origins of Constantine Anton Dziuk, who served as Catholic Priest in Huron Michigan.
