What I am trying to find out is why the first Heidt I can find in my line (John David), from Twiggs Co.,GA, is said to be a child of the union of James Eaddy and Mary Drake, both of South Carolina, and neither of whom ever appeared to come to GA. I cannot find any evidence that Mary Drake had another spouse named Heidt. For some reason there are numerous family trees on this site with that connection, but there are no historical records either to support that connection or any other ancestor of JOhn David. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I am kind of new at this.
