According to the US cencus, Eady, Eaddy was a very common name and there are hundreds, maybe thousands of them in South Carolina. My James (Jim) Eady was in Williamsburg County (Kingstee) and if you check all the cities in Williamsburg, there are Eady's galore. It doesn't matter what race you are,(black race Eady's) got their name from their white slave owner, Eady.
My greatgreat grandftaher was James Eady and his wife name was Satira, I don't have a clue as to what her maiden name was.
