Awhile back, you were kind enough to send me information about Eagar family tree re Frances Margaret Holden Eagar and Francis McGillicuddy Eagar.

I was wondering if you knew that their daughter Margaretta Eagar was a governess to the daughters of the Csar of Russia? She wrote a book titled "My Six Years at the Russian Court." She's also mentioned in text of another book as being their English governess who sang to them their favorite nursery song.
