John Eagar's Personal History

For anyone descended of or interested in John Eagar, Son of Lucy Buell and Thomas Eagar, I just found a history that he wrote about his trip on the ship Brooklyn and his experiences as one of the first in the gold fields in California. This may not be new to anyone else, but I didn't know it existed. I'm currently transcribing it so I can share it with anyone interested.
