Was looking for several of my EAKIN relatives and inquired the Washington Co Historical Society.
Their reply included a Catherine J. Eakin.
"In 1870 I found a listing for Ambrose L. Eakin, son of William C. and Catherine J.. The family was living in Ashtabula, Ohio. There were 2 younger sisters, Matilda M. and Emina E."
"In 1880 I found a listing for Amber EAKIN, born about 1866, son of W. C. and C. J. Eakin. The family was living in Bradford Township, McKean County, PA. There were 2 younger sisters, age 12 and 11. All family members were born in PA except the youngest, who was born in Ohio."
