In England, 1775, John Earl, B. in England, 1777. Joseph then listed his occupation as Methodist Minister, School Teacher, Cabinet maker, and Wheelwright, he said he has also worked with leather, making shoes, harness, and saddles. His wife was expecting and delivered a son Joseph Earl Jr. a few hours later. He was registered as Joseph Earl ll born in New York City, 11 Feb. 1780. Joseph moved his family down into New York where he took care of a parish on Sundays and taught school during the week. Solomon and John later moved to Ohio, as did Joseph Jr. and his family.
