I thought I would start a new thread on this.

I live just a few miles for Stonewall Jackson's house in Winchester VA. I am working on the issue that my family might be related to Stonewall Jackson through Felix Grundy the Attorney General for President Martin Van Buren and Jose Marcus the wife of Wyatt Earp. I just found out that John Harris Behan, the Sheriff of Tombstone who arrested both Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday, was in the same Army unit of Teddy Roosevelt's Rough Riders in Cuba and the same Marine unit at the Peking Embassy in China as my cousin. My cousin is very well documented because he received a Medal of Honor in that action in China.

I am still trying to work the details but I do know I have Holliday's in my family although they do not seem to be blood related. I believe the families of Bradshaw and McIntyre that Wyatt Earp talks about in his Crabtree deposition, are also related to me.

I have visited the Jackson Museum many times with the last visit just a week ago. One thing for sure, the house is called the Moore house and it was owned by Mary Tyler Moore's family during the Civil War.

I am wondering if any of this rings home.
