Kelly had a Brother Martin and a son Martin. The son married Ada (Ida) Joyner and they are the parents to Orville Easland (My grandpa and your dad)

I am related to the Easlands that were from Massachusetts and New York before moving to Illinios and then to Minnesota and Wisconsin. Martin and Ida Easland were my g.grandparents. there son Hoarce Easland was my Grandpa on my Dad side.I have been searching for Information on this family for years, and still dont have much to go on. I cant find a Kelly anywhere before 1850.

Martin K. Easland b.1861 in Illinios to Kelly and Cynthia Easland.

Anyone for whatever reason decides to look up this family please be advised that there are two Martin's. Martin J. Easland is Martin K. Easlands Uncle. and in the 1860 census is put down as living with Kelly Easland and his family. Martin K.Easland had not been born yet.Looking up family information is confusing at times and shouldnt be handled lightly and passed on to others as truth.This only hurts that familys search,it does not help.
Please dont get me wrong,I,to as much as others deeply appreciate the help of others.Just please be careful in passing on information,Genealogy can be costly and as i said before Confusing.

PS. There has been some confusion by others, That have contacted me about this family.To clear the air, Here is some information.Kelly Easland had a Brother and a son by the name Martin.Martin J Easland was his Brother. and Martin K. Easland was his son.

Martin K. Easland was married 2xs. one of those times was to my grandma Ida(Ada)B.Joyner.

I am the Granddaughter to Horace Orville Easland and Mabel Mary Pippenger of Wisconsin. In Re: to the Easland Surname I do recall my Grandpa telling us about his early days and his growing up years. I do recall his Dad being a Kelly Easland or a Martin Easland and yes i no, and NO they are not the same person.. I have info that says they are 2 different people. one a son and one a father.

Kelley Martin Easland and Ida Joyner --Ida parents are Isaac jr Joyner and Sarah a Pawnnell or Pawnell. Ida's sister Matilda Jane Pownell/Pawnell married to Christian C. Gobel/Goble was my great great grandmother. I would love to share family info with you

Hi Mark, any Easland information you have would be wonderful to know about. It's not a very common name and it seems that if you go back far enough we are all related some how. I have info. on the Easlands that moved to MN and then Wisconsin, but it also goes back to Massachusetts and New York. I would be happy to share if any of it can be of use to you.

Hi Diane, great to hear from you. Don sent me some great family information last year that has enabled me to go back to the 1600's in the U.S. I don't know how much you have, but I am happy to share, and would love to learn more.

Doris is my father's mother. My parents are Robert Stephan and Paula. You said Doris is your aunt. Who are your parents?

I have Frederick and Sarah's Death Cert. If you don't have their Marrage and Sarahs Birth Cert, I can send copies
of them to you. I am missing Fredericks Birth Cert.
Have followed the Easland line back to James, son of John George and Hannah Rawmocker in NYC.As yet, I have not sent for the Vital records of Fredericks Ancestors. Sarah's
ancestors (Bliss) I have copies of Vital Record Books back to a Johnathon Bliss who came to the new colonies from England. From Johnathon, the LDS site list his ancestors back too the Kings of England.

A while back we e-mailed each other about the Easland line. I "gave" you data and program CD's (about 80 CD's) worth well over $600.00, and the lineage of Sarah J. (Bliss) Easland which went back to 1400's England. In return you told me about 4 or 5 more children that Frederick and Sarah Easland had. All I asked for was a copy of the census from the library where you got the data. After I shipped the CD's, I received a simple e-mail saying "thanks" and have not heard from you sense then.
Researching your family history is only possible when information is freely shared with other researchers. This is evedent at most geneolagy sites and bulliton boards that post "data, vital records, etc. that is there for all to see.
In closing I also ask that you give credit to my niece Diana and myself for any data that you received from me which you pass on to others.
You do not need to answer this message or send any e-mails.

My line is through there daughter Alida who m. Fred R. Griffin in Lenox on Jan. 1, 1895.

Hi, My great grandfather was Fredrick Easland, birthday date May 1829, in Hillsdale, NY. He died in Lenox, MA in Aug. 1904.He was a carpenter.

The first settler in West Stockbridge was John George Easland, the first of
our Easland line to come to the new world. There is a short line about him

came from France with his 1st wife who died
during child birth at sea.He landed in NY,
and after a period of time went to the berk-

I am looking for my Grandfathers birth parents, My Grandpa's name was Horace Orville Easland .b.25 Oct.1908 in Illinois. don't have a City. all i know is that my grandpa was raised by a family in Southern Wisconsin. I did find him on the 1930 U.S Federal Census in Janesville, Rock, Wisconsin.

Horace married my Grandma : Mabel Mary Pippenger and had 3 childern. my dad is the youngest.

Fred, I am wondering if we have the same James Easland. He is the earliest Easland I have info on so I don't have his parents names. The info I do have on him is taken from an excerpt of "Southwestern Minnesota".

He served in the Revolutionary War and was a native of the state of New York (? born in MA in another source). His wife is Mary, son Kelley EASLAND d.1882 who married Cynthia LEET d.1885, who son was Martin J. EASLAND b.1840 d.1910. After New York it appears that this line moved to Ohio, Illinois, Iowa, and then Minnesota.
