Ok, all you Easlons and Berkleys out there. It is hard for me to believe that absolutely no one knows anything about the Easlon family beyond Thomas Jefferson Easlon (Eastland). Was there no family Bible left behind? No clues anywhere? My dad told me that he thought Tom Sr. came from Kentucky or Tennessee and since he had a daughter named Tennessee it makes sense. Anyone have any clues?

He also said that Tom Sr. was wounded in the Civil War, and that his dad, Nathaniel, told him that Tom walked with a limp.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
