I am now well on my way to building the Eastaff Family Tree going back ten generations. The roots have their origin in the Bucks/Beds area of Milton Keynes/Woburn/Leighton Buzzard with branches now in London, Yorkshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Canada, USA, Australia and New Zealand. Please contact me me if you want to know more and let me have as much information on your part of the branch as possible. I will send you the most recent update of the tree and the Eastaff Newsletter No 1.
Having completed the 19th Century I am currently working through the General Register of Births and Deaths for the period 1900 to 2000 and have already reached 1935. Marriages will follow on.
Maybe you are part of the Tree already. Why not find out more!
Lieutenant, later Captain, Thomas George William Eastaff, educated at the Royal Military Academy, Woolwich in the late 18th Century prepared the first survey map of St Johns, Newfoundland and Fort Townshend, Canada in 1806/1812.
Who were his ancestors and descendants? Can you help.
