Tx for letting me know you got my post. If our Charles Brooks Easterlins are not the same person, they're surely kin. My William Thomas Easterlin was the son of Jonathan Easterlin of Barnwell Co., S.C.
According to the Easterling Family History book,
Wm T. migrated to Alachua Co., FL some time after 1870, after a stay in Lowndes GA. The book doesn't list any of Charles Brooks Easterlin's descendents but according to a cousin of mine, he had a son also named Charles Brooks Easterlin, but I don't have any info on him. If you haven't done so already, you might try posting your query on the Alachua FL message Board.
