Edward Eber/Abigael Eber in MI in 1858

Searching these folks as they were witness to my gggrandfather's marriage, Nelson Randolph b1830, m-1858 in Hartford, Van Buren Co, MI, Nancy Johnson b 1837 in OH (a Native American). Brick wall on Nelson's and Nancy's parents, so thought maybe the Eber's are related and might hold a clue?? Would appreciate hearing from anyone who has these Eber's in their data base. Thanks, Rosie Corrigan prcorrigan@aol.com

looking for decendants of Sam Eber and Geneive Govero

I am trying to find any descendants of this couple. Geneive was my great aunt, her younger half sister Gertrude was my grandmother. I have her birthday as being, Octover 3, 1907, and I have a date of death of January 25, 1989. My father stayed at her house overnight in approximately 1964 or so before he went to Germany. I have information on Geneive's mother, as well as a picture of her when she was about 2 or 3 sitting on her mother's lap, with her stepfather standing beside them. I would love to hear from any relatives and would like to share what I have with them

My gret-grandfather was Paul Wich born 1826, Bayern, Germany married a Catharina Raas or maybe her maiden name was miller from Hesse Darmstadt, Germany. Catharina's name is listed several ways in different places, but the date of birth and town are the same?

Paul possibly had a brother John.

Isn't Bayern near you? Could there possible be a connection?

Thank You
Doris

Sidi Mahomet Ta-eber

Hello.

I'm afraid I have no info to help in your immediate quest, but I have a question for you. For several years, I have been working every angle to try to track down a character named Sidi(or Sadi) Mahomet (Mahommed)Ta-eber (or Taeber) who appeared briefly in southeast Utah on the heels of a minor gold rush in 1894 or 1895. I'm trying every angle I can to get any kind of lead on this man. My thought is that, as his name was sometimes hyphenated ("Ta-eber"), that the "Ta-" may have been some kind of prefix that was dropped by his descendants, assuming he had some. He was an elderly gentleman in the mid 1890s, and apparently well educated. He may have been Moroccan. If this has any possible bearing on your family origins, please get in touch with me. thank you very much, and good luck in your search. --Winston Hurst
