Clyde Eberhardt III went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 16, 2012.
He was a graduate of East High School ('73) Columbus, Ohio and Wittenburg University ('77), where he led them to win the NCAA Div 2 National Championship.
A former Director of Capital Planning for the State, he currently taught at Columbus East High School.
Preceded in death by his father Clyde Eberhardt Jr. Survived by his wife, Deborah; sons, Clyde IV and Quentin; daughter, Gracianne; grandson, Marcellas; mother, Frances; brothers, Jeffrey and Timothy; sisters, Sonja (Malcom) Goff, Cheryl Cook, Regina Moore, Monica Talbert, Leslie (George) Jenkins, Pamela (Roosevelt) Horton, Judith Devlin, Cynthia Steel and Lisa (Kevin) Morgan; mother and father-in-law, Ron and Marianne Wolf; brother-in-law, Ron (Nicole) Wolf; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives; special friends, Maurice Alfred, Morris Mackey, Eric Cunningham, Nicole, Boyer, Lawrence Dodley, Tony Bird, Jimmy Evans and George Jackson.
Visitation Wednesday, March 21, 2012 from 7-9 p.m. in the chapel of DIEHL-WHITTAKER FUNERAL SERVICE, 720 E. Long Street and also on Thursday, March 22, 2012 from 10-11 a.m. at Mt. Period Missionary Baptist Church, 462 Kimball Place, Columbus, Ohio where funeral services will follow at 11am.
Interment - Green Lawn Cemetery.
