Hello, thank you for writing me. I am the Great Great grandaughter of Frederick Eberwein and the great grandaughter of Charles Eberwein; who was Lena Eberwein, Waugh's brother. Then Charles Eberwein was the father of my grandfather, William Franklin Eberwein. My grandmother, Edith Hill, Eberwein gave me a album that contained lots of pictures of the Eberwein's and their families. The picture of Jack and Lena Eberwein, Waugh was in the album. I'm glad you can add it to your family pictures. I love to have a picture to place with all the information I acquire about my families genealogy.I have been working on Jack Waugh and his family the past week. I'll tell you what I know about the Eberwein's that immigrated from Hanover, Germany. They immigrated from Germany in 1854 and I was told that Frederick Eberwein's 1st wife and 2 children died on the way here to the United States. Where did you get your information? It would be interesting to hear all that you know and I would be glad to share information with you.
I know where Terre Haute is as my grandparents, William and Edith Eberwein lived in Brazil, Indiana and I spent many summers with them and also had relatives in Terre Haute. My mother, Dora Joan Eberwein, Kingery is still living and she will be 84 years old in June. It is good to hear from you, Terra and I hope to hear more from you.
