My name is Tonia and even though my last name isn't Ebron it happens to be my family name from teh New York side. I was wondering if any of you had a family memebr named Leahmond (Liahmond?) Ebron from North Carolina. It so happens he is my great grandfather. Thanks!

My Father was Robert Ebron, born in Little Washington and died in Fayetteville, NC in 1992. His father was also Robert Ebron who died in 1937. His mother was Nora Keyes? Ebron. She died in the 50"s. My father has only one sister still living and her name is Nora Ebron Sharpeson. I have heard my father talk about the Barrows as related family members.

The Moores and Ebrons are my immediate family. The Moore family is my maternal g-ma's family and the Ebrons are my maternal grand-dad's family. My grandparents are Johnny Ebron and Mary (Moore) Ebron of Greenville NC. They also lived in Pactolus. We have fam all over in NC. (Farmville, Washington,Belvoir, Raleigh, etc.

by surprise I actually got in contact with my aunt doris, and my cousins Varsha, and D'nai, just a couple of days ago through our cousin jackie and sam allen they are the grand children of our great aunt Gertrude Ebron(Lopes, she is your grandfather sister, we all met on this website called facebook.com and belive it or not that how we actually connected. its amazing. but I would still like to get to know you as well for we are cousins to. even our cousin roderick forbes is on that website he the grandson willie j Ebron so give me a call sometime I woul love to talk 203-667-7694

i do not know the people to whom you named, but i am related to the ebron family, but from farmville, nc. maybe relatives i can ask and see if i can find some info if any leroy ebron from farmville is my grandfather but he passed in 2001 but i cam ask his children my aunt doris who lives here in connecticut, etc if you people knows them then we can find info together if there is any

This might be of interest. My name is Cristie Williams. My family has a copy of a Martin County,North Carolina census report from 1900. That year my great grandfather and great grandmother are listed as Dempsey and Sarah Ebron. Shortly afterward, my great-grandmother Sarah(attempting to escape a negative reputation)changed my families last name from Ebron to Williams. Anytime we gather as a family we gather as the descendants of Dempsey and Sarah Williams. And there are tens of dozens of us. Most of us now live in VA and NY. They didn't move from N.C. to Va until the early 20's I beleive. So I could possibly be your family. Let me know if you would like to view a PDF of the census report.

Ebron from Philippines

I was delighted by what I discovered, Ebron is not just Filipinos. When I visited this site by chance, I found thousands of messages pertaining to my family name outside my country.
Ebron in Philippines were originated from Igbaras, Iloilo. Ilonggo in speaking our roots moved to an adjacent island of Guimaras , then settled to Iloilo City, Manila, & to some other islands & provinces. And like my self, family, & sister, we settled in Gulf & US.
There are not too many Ebron in Philippines. The name is not well known. Not too many of us that we are sure, every Ebron in Philippines are related to each other.

"Little Washington" every year. the weekend of Labor Day.
We African American....I have been able to find out so far that
our name originates in Carteret County and nowhere else and

Hello My name is Nikiera Ebron from Columbus,Ohio. My father is Duane Ebron, the youngest son of John Ebron. My father only other sibling in John Ebron, Jr., who lives in Valdosta,Ga. Our Ebron bloodline came from Savanna, Ga., but they migrated to Johnstown,Pa. It is wonderful to see so many Ebron's. The Ebron name is not common in Columbus,Oh. I met John Ebron who lives only a couple of blocks from me and he is from Little Washington, NC. My father and I share the same name. He passed away in 1990. I'm from Durham, NC. My father, Clifford Ebron, was born in 1939 in (Little) Washington, NC; he passed in 1995. He had 3 brothers, one of whom still lives in Durham. I have several cousins in NC, and I know other Ebrons all the way from Connecticut to Georgia. I've just moved to Atlanta, and there are several NY-based Ebrons here. BTW, we are all of African descent as well, but there are some Euro-American Ebrons in NC. Glad to make your acquaintance, and feel free to email my privately.

My father was Richard Andrew Ebron and he died in 1992. He was from Jacksonville Fla. His father was Fred Ebron , he died in 1994. I live in Dallas texas and is currently looking for any family reunions notification on the east coast. We are of African Descent and since looking for the EBRON's NATIONWIDE never encounter any Anglos.
