In 1847 Michael HOOVER, along with father-in-law, Christian HERSHEY, and JOHN EBY, (b. 1822), the son of MARY (HERSHEY) (EBY) HOOVER, Michael's wife and some 60 family members, left Lancaster Co., PA and traveled to IOWA and founded the town of LISBON, IN LINN CO. PLease also include any info on follwing: THIS HERSHEY LINE RUMOURED TO BE RELATED to HERSHEY COMPANY of PA - HOW?! WHICH LINE? HOW ARE THEY CONNECTED?
