I am looking for information on the third wife of my grandfather, Susan Alberta Eby, b. about 1887 in Nebraska. Her family lived in Hartington, NE from at least 1917 to 1920, possibly all their lives. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Eby. Her siblings are a sister Lettie Maude Eby, b. 2 May 1883 in Bow Valley, NE who worked as a teacher in Omaha and died there unmarried on 5 Apr 1918; another sister who married George Carpenter and lived in Elm Creek, NE; and a brother Dr. M. E. Eby who practiced dentistry in Hartington. Susan married my grandfather, John William Hays on 7 Aug 1919 in Pierce, NE. He owned a music store in Hartington, and she was a music teacher. In about Feb of 1920, they sold out and moved to Deluth, MN. And that's where I have lost the trail. I am especially interested to find out if they had any children, or if anyone knows when and where John Hays died. Thank you!
