I am the daughter-in-law of Florence Eccleston Adams. She was my husbands mother. She was adopted by Joseph Adams when she was an infant. I am assuming her mother Sarah died when she was born. I have found Harold ,Louise, George Frank and Helen on 1900 cenusbut on the 1910 cenus William is a widower. Mildred Robert Claude Grace and Florence I assume were all born between 1900 and 1910. I have located Claude. He was adopted by Conklins and has died. I located Helen and she married a Riggs. She died 1994. Florence married George W. Berry in 1927 and had 6 children. She died in 1956. I would appriecate any info you have on the rest of the children. I have other info of grandparents . Contact me. Email: Sberry8968@optonline.net

Information Wanted on Family of Everette Eccleston, mar. to Lorretta Mikel

Not sure if this helps anyone or not. My fathers' name is Everett Eccleston born in Pennslvania (I think). His fathers' name was Everett Eccleston as well. He lived up north too. My Dad had a brother "Don" that was kiled in a car accident and had two girls. He also had a brother Wayne (who died) and a sister (can't remember her name). My grandparents were dedicated Salvation Army officers up North. I was basically looking to trace my history event though this may be vague. My mother Lorretta's maiden name was Mikel. She died in a car accident in Galena Park in 1972.

Eccleston (Martha / Lenord (sp?) in Lancashire, England

A Lenord(sp?) Eccleston is listed as a witness for a 1828 marriage in Walton-le-Dale between a James Faulkner and Mary Carroll.

Following the possibility that Lenord Eccleston could be related to the bride and provide the bride's mother's name, I found a marriage entry for a Martha Eccleston & James Carroll in 1796 at St. Anne, Liverpool.

If anyone has come accross either a Martha or Lenord(sp?) Eccleston in their research please let me know.

Thanks, Maureen

Hello Pauline

Did you ever find out about Humphrey Eccleston? I believe he was married to Esther Wilkinson in 1793 at Church Eaton, Staffs, and he was the son of John Eccleston/Ecclestone (b. abt 1737) and Jane Parton (m.1759, Haughton).

Humphrey (b.1767) was the brother of my gggg-grandfather, Charles Ecclestone who married Hannah Stanton in 1793.

I believe the line goes back Charles b.1771 > John b.1737 > Thomas b.1700 > Humphrey d.1715 (married Catherine Peake at Ellenhall 1699).

I haven't done a lot of research on this line.

Best - Garen.

ECCLESTON Family from Standish/Radcliffe

would welcome any information on John Eccleston likely born between 1815 and 1825 in Lancashire. I know he lived in Standish at one point because a son was born there. He may have been a mason.
Any information on the names of his wife or children or other places he may have lived would be extremely appreciated.
I know he had a son named Thomas Eccleston (born in Standish in 1844 - sometimes listed as born 1842) who was a miner/sinker. Thomas married Mary Ellen Roberts (from Wales) and they settled in Radcliffe with 9 children.
If it is of any interest to anyone else's research, one of Thomas and Mary's 9 children, Thomas Eccleston, Jr (born 1882 in Radcliffe) married Francis Mitchell (of Little Lever and born in 1886) and they moved to Rhode Island in 1913.
