Janet and I are sisters

Our mother is Dorothy Otto Eckels (Crowell).
She is the the daughter of Ray Elizabeth Stone
and Robert Davidson Eckels. Ray and Robert were
married on April 19, 1911 in Westville, NJ.
Robert Davidson Eckels' father was John Eckels.
His mother was Sarah Huntsberger. They had at least
three children, Robert Davidson Eckels, Fredrick Eckels
and Rachael Otto Eckels. Rachael Otto Eckels was an RN.

Fredrick married (unknown) and they had at least
two children, Freda and John(?).

Rachael Otto Eckels married Karl or Jack Thalen.
They had at least two children. The girl's name was Ellen.

My Grandmother, Rae Elizabeth had two daughters by Robert
Eckels. Roberta Rae b. June 25, 1912 and Dorothy Otto born Feb
2, 1914.

Robert Davidson Eckels and Rae Elizabeth were divorced in cerca 1917.
He was married prior to marrying Rae. He had a child by the first wife, They had a daughter Hazel.
He married a third time to Isabelle ? and they had a son, Thornwell Eckels. Nothing else is known
about Robert until his death which occurred between 1943 and 1945(?). We do know that he was at least separated
from Isabelle prior to 1927(?). Robert was an electrician and was in Government Secret Service work during the
first world war.

Dorothy Otto Married Frank Leslie Crowell in May 20, 1937 and they
had two children. Janet Gail Crowell Married Roland Russell Newell
on Jan 13,1962. They have 2 adopted children Kimberly Dawn and Michael Dean

Roberta Rae Eckels married Ralph Noble Stackhouse on Nov. 26th 1931. They had
3 children, Ralph Harold, Dorothy Roberta and
Carol Lynn.

Roberta Rae Crowell married Donald Sebastian
Barbalace on Aug 7, 1965. (Divorced March 13, 1979) We have two sons Kenneth Lea Barbalace and Justin
Troy Barbalace.

Kenneth Lea Married Julia Darokchina of Nolverulsk, Russia On Oct 11,1999.

I hope this is of some help to you. We have been trying to learn anything we can about Robert, as he seemed
to be a rather elusive fellow. Any information you could provide would be
greatly appreciated.

It was good to read your information on the Eckels. My mother, DOrothy appreciates all of the work you have done,
and sends her best regards.
