I'm searching for the family of Benjamin Eckert, born about 1820 in Pennsylvania. He lived in Saucon, PA in 1850 with his wife Elizabeth (b. abt. 1827 in NJ) and sons Frank (1842-1901) and Martin (b. abt. 1847). Benjamin disappears from the census after 1850, possibly in connection with the Civil War. We have family descended from Frank and his wife Sophia Miers (1850-1918) through their son William Henry Eckert (1867-1927). Frank's family lived in NJ. Thanks for any insight you can provide.
