Looking for Ruth Eckler, born March 30, 1828, in Illinois and married to George Stevenson. They came out on wagon train to Oregon where George died as soon as they enter the Cascades on the Columbia river. She then married the wagon master, John Tucker Scott. They started their journey from Danville IL. They had two sons, Jacob George and Henry (he died on the way to Oregon).
