Levi Eckley married Charlotte White

I really need help. Charlotte White b. 1837 in Preble, Ohio, d. Jan. 28, 1907 in Stark, Ill., m. Levi Eckley, b. Feb. 5, 1819 in Richland, Ohio, and d. Feb. 9, 1833 in Stark, Ill. I am looking for Charlotte's sister, Mary Malinda White, b. abt. 1835 probably in Ohio. She married John Brewer Feb. 18, 1849 in Peoria, Ill. They were divorced in 1859 or 1860. They had one daughter, Charlotte Brewer Jesse. I need to know when and where Mary Malinda White died and any other info anyone may have about her.

I am trying to find information on Mary Eckley who was the mother of David, Lulu, and Arthur McMillan/McMullen/McMillin. Lulu McMillan was adopted by the Carroll family. The three children were born in Ludington, MI in the 1880s. I think the father's name was George McMillin.

Eckley--who died in 1905. He was married to Mary Puckett. My great-grandfather had one sister--Sallie Eckley. I'm trying to find ancestors mainly for Gilford Eckley.

This is my grandmother's father,b:1885 Kansas d:1954 Canada. I have not been able to find a connection between them. In the 1930 census it shows him being marred to someone else and having a daughter, Helen. Also her mother remarried, Phil Perdue.

His fathers name is James W Eckley 1849-1923, mother is Catherine E Coulter b:1851 Canada He was married to Mary F Place b:1896 California They had 3 daughters, all three born in San Diego CA

Ethel C 1914 d:1986 SD Ca
Jane H 1915 d:1987 Oregon
June M 1917 d:1966 SD Ca

My hubby's great grandfather was Frank Eckley (Delbert's brother) & Maude Moon.

I'm looking for information on Frank Eckley. He died in Ludington, MI in 1967 and was married to Augusta (maiden name unknown). They had at least 8 children. Clyde, Floyd, Howard, Kathrine, Grace, Winford (infant death), Beatrice (infant death), Mabel (aka Aunt Mebzie).

Clyde died in 1972. He was married to Cathrine Elizabeth Gates for a few years and then they divorced. His second wife Isabel, of Ludington, just recently died. Frank Eckley lived at 414 North Robert St.

Aunt Grace and Aunt Mabel never married. Grace was a nurse.

Any information would be very helpful.

From my understanding this line of Eckelys had come from Germany.

Excerpt from Flint newspaper, April 28, 1923.
"One Killed, 2-Hurt a Dort Plant"

"Delbert H. Eckley was born in Grand Blac, Jan. 15, 1873, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Eckley. He was married to Ella Mae Ross on Nov. 9, 1892 and had resided in Flint the last 29 years. He ws a member of the Eagles. He leaves his wife and one daughter; Mrs. Ray Larabee of Flint: three grandchildren; rwo brothers, Herbert of Ionia; Frank of Pamyan, N.J. and one sister, Mrs. Bert Heil of Davison."

Excerpt from "Genesee County, Michigan" (seems to be some sort of history/profile of Flint residents" - available at Flint Library - publish date unknown)

"William and elsie (Gillett) Eckley . . . eleven children, namely Sarah, who died in infancy; Eliza Jane, Widow of, the widow of Frank Cousins; William Henry, deceased . . . Earl (who bought the farm on Lapeer Road from his father-in-law, John Alexander)"

It has been my experience that often men used their middle name, so it is possible that Delbert Eckley father was William Eckley.

Earl Eckley is my husband's great grandfather.

I hope this helps. I have more background on some of the Eckleys, not not much on Frank.

Am working on William Eckley and Elsie Gillett Eckley right now.

Thank you very much for the information. According to my Genealogy program Margery Minerva (nee Eckley) JONES is my 2C4R. Are you connected to this family? If so, we are probably cousins. Margery's Grandmother Margaret (nee Van Gilder) ECKLEY is my 5th great Aunt. Thanks again for taking the time to share this information with me, I appreciate it very much.

I am researching the Eckley Family, and am looking for the parents, grandparents etc. of:

I believe their mother's name was Susanna(h).
In the 1900 Carroll County, Ohio census the children were living with her and she had remarried.

Jesse Marion Jones b. 12 Jul 1831 (Cumberland,KY)
d. 16 Jun 1910 (Kirksville, MO)

There are several pictures of both Jesse and Margery Minerva, one taken when she was 17. There is also a family portrait of their oldest son Albert his six sisters -
