Flora and Willard were my maternal grandparents. Their daughter, Margaret L. Himes married Carl E. Barber Sr. I believe in 1948. They had two sons, Carl E. Barber Jr. born in 1949 and myself, Richard Barber, born in 1955. Flora (Granny) died late in 1977. Willard died in 69 or 70. They are both buried in Roseville California along with my parents Margaret (Peg) and Carl.

The limited records I have show a Joseph whose parents were John & Mary Eckroth; but it's literally a sketch from my parents that tried to show a family tree. John would have been Peter Eckroth's brother, my grandfather.

What confuses things is "John" was also the name of Peter & John's father, as well as one of my dad's brothers. However I don't see any other Josephs in the sketched tree. Hope this helps.

Bill Eckroth
Tacoma, WA
