My maiden name is Eddingfield. There's not many Eddingfield's around, so to find someone that is related to them is pretty cool. My family is out of Missouri.

Carol was my mother. She passed away in 2002. I think my father has a copy of the photograph you are referring to but it was taken in the 1920s or early 1930s (mymmother was born in 1924). Are you related ton the Eddingfields? My mother was an only child and I have believed that the family has largely died out.

I'm trying to find information on the family of Sarah Eddingfield and her husband Frank Blair. They were married in Pike Co., IL June 19, 1878. I can't find them in any census. According to online postings at rootsweb.com they both died in Florida. Sarah/Sadie was born in Illinois in 1856 to William Eddingfield and Ann Eliza Quarles. Thank you for any help.

Photo -- Carol Eddingfield & Grandfather

I have a wonderful photo that I found among my Grandfather's papers. It was probably taken in the late 1940's or early 1950's. It shows an old man with white hair and a goatee sitting at a table with a little girl about 6 years old and a doll. They are having a tea party. On the back is written:

"Brother Eddingfield and granddaughter Carol"

If you know who these people are and would like the photo, please contact me.

Mary Jane
