My name is Lynne Marie Holcomb Slaven. My mother is Edith Louise Eden Sloan. Her mother was Bertha Lee Pelfrey Eden Tabor. Her father was William Taylor Eden. They were from the Olive Hill/Morehead, Kentucky area. My grandfather was killed when my mother was 9 months old, which would place his death around the end of 1927 to the beginning of 1928. He died as the result of a gunshot wound. He was the brother of Frank Eden and Lilly Eden Fisher. My mother was the youngest child. Her siblings were Harold (a half brother), Irene (deceased at age 2), William Harold and Carroll Edward. All are deceased except my mother who is now 75 years old.
