I wonder if anyone searching Edgecomb may possibly have any of these surnames in their files

Watts(a lot of them from ME and MA)
Robinson, Moses
Kowalcizk,
Giles
Snalley Hannah or Joshua(not married may be siblings)
Fogarty Moses
Manning, Rita
Rogers, John Edward
Stone, Sarah
Henderson, Jane or June
Wall, Aaron
Fountain, L(?) and Betsy(again not married,)
Hawkins, Sophie or Mary Sophie etc
Mahoney,
Barry,
McNeil, Elizabeth
Woodcock, Catherine.

If you do, please let me know. I have them in my research files/family (be it distant). The Watts are the major common connector to above if you have searched you will find that I think, in most cases(for the line/branch in question anyway)

Good luck to one and all

Please be sure to tell me whom your looking for and what information you are searching for. I think it may be time to dig out my notes.

I am starting this thread to provide a place for discussion about ancestors, descendants, and relatives of Uriah Edgecomb (22 Apr 1781-22 Jul 1861) who married Elizabeth (Betsy) Doud and eventually lived in Bath Twp., Allen County, Ohio.

The Bassett-Edgecomb-Snyder Archives (http://besr.info/) is a repository for information on this topic, and this thread is intended to provide a forum for discussion. Discussion related to Phineas Edgecomb, Uriah's nephew, who also lived in Bath Township is also appropriate here.

Steve Baskauf
Bassett-Edgecomb-Snyder Archives
http://besr.info/

Leonard Edgecomb is my great grandfather. I don't have much information on him because he divorced my great grandmother and remarried Marie Beckman. If this is the same family, his siblins were Lillian and Clarence and his parents were Alfred Grand Edgecomb and Prudence. I am having problems tracing it back any farther. If you have any info let me know. I'll try to find out more about Leo's life. I do have his social security number if that would help. Just send me an email.

George, Thank you so much for this information. Where did you find this info? Is this from your family files, or did you do a look-up for me in public records? I'm greedy.. are you or anyone else working on this same line? Does anyone know Rachel's burial place or any possible sibs for Rachel? By the time the Redlons (Abraham, Rachel's son) had moved to Illinois (where I live) they had become 'Ridlen'. I have info on Abraham his desc. if anyone else needs this info. Please feel free to e-mail me at: cherylg@midwest.net to exchange information. Thanks for any information!!!
