Sarah Frances Edgens and Jeter Lee

I have a question, according to some information on this website, they state that Sarah Frances "Sallie" Edgens who was in 1860 married her second (2nd) husband Jeter Lee, Jr, who was born in 02/1901, that would make "Sallie" about 41 year older than Jeter Lee, Jr and my gradfather was born 01/01/1911, so that would make his step father only 10 years younger than him Also Jeter's father Jeter Lee, Sr was born after 1860. Wouldn't it sound better if she married Jeter Lee, Sr?

According to my great grandmother's obituary she came from Spartanburg, Spartanburg County, South Carolina

I am looking for information about John Edgens who married Frances Owens, and the had the following children:

Sarah Frances "Sallie" (04/22/1912-09/03/1983)
Johnnie
Lee
Elvin

I am not sure when John or Frances Owens was born but I would like to exchange information with anyone that happens to have any information about this family?
