William Jasper was the son of Thomas Edgemon and Nancy Pierce. He was a brother to Thomas Kimball Edgmon, my great grandfather. They come from McMinn or Meigs Co.in Tennessee. Thomas Edgemon and Nancy are buried at the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Athens, Tn.
