I just found your tree with Judson Edie, who I have also been researching. I can't help with information about his parents, but I do have information on Judson.
Judson Edie worked on the farm of my 5th great-grandparents Asa Tefft and Hannah Cottrell. The first time I find him listed there is in the 1870 census. The original farm had several hundred acres and the property crossed the border between North Greenwich and Argyle (census records show variously both towns).
Asa and Hannah had 5 children -- my 4th GG Benjamin C. Tefft married and bought land nearby; the other 4 children never married and ran the farm themselves. After the 4 siblings reached adulthood, they took in a young girl, Catherine (or "Mary Kate") Bryant. She is first listed on the 1860 census when she was 7 years old. I haven't been able to establish a family connection, so she may have been the child of church members or other friends.
Judson married Mary Kate and they had two children -- Asa Howard and Regina.
Asa Tefft Jr. was the last of the four Tefft siblings to die. When he passed in 1888 all of his nieces had married and his nephews had left the area. He left the family farm to Judson and Mary Kate Edie. The road that passes through the land is now named Edie Road.
After Mary Kate's death in 1898 Judson married Margaret L. I don't have any additional information on her.
Judson and Mary Kate Edie are buried adjacent to Asa & Hannah Tefft and their four unmarried children in Greenwich Cemetery. They were obviously considered part of the family.
I posted photos of the graves and farm on Flickr:

Hope this helps. I would be very interested in any information you find on Judson's past or on his first wife Mary Kate.
